Born in Idaho to A.D. and Eleda Ericksen, she attended Berkeley High School and U.C. Berkeley. She worked for her father and brother’s law firm (Ericksen, Arbuthnot), and later for Watson and Hoffee in Richmond. A skilled and inspiring teacher, she enjoyed working with teenage girls at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Oakland/Berkeley area, and later in the Pinole/San Pablo area. She was very involved in opening and directing the church girl’s camp, Camp Liahona, and was associate producer of the first Oakland Temple Pageant, and later its publicity director. As a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she loved hosting events for extended family.

Oh my gosh! You guys are stylin'. I LOVE your coordinated look. Abbie's dress is stunning, and I want to steal it for Meili!
Looks like it was a great service!
I am sure this was a beautiful service as she was a beautiful person. I have so many fond memories of her and the many gatherings we had in her home when I was a child. She will always have a special place in my heart.
