2/28/09 No photos to document the occasion. Daniel is camera shy. But, wanted to brag a bit. Daniel was accepted to BYU today. He has also been accepted to Sac State. He is a bit disappointed that he was accepted for summer term which means that if he decides to go he will leave in June, but I am excited for him because summer at the "Y" is the best. However, we are going to miss him greatly if he goes. He is still deciding what to do with the year before he plans to leave on his mission, but we are very proud of his just being accepted and know that he will make the right decision for him - what ever that is.

Oh, I must be getting old. Not only do I have a son off to college soon, but I was really surprised that Daniel did not get an official acceptance letter. It was an official acceptance email. Somehow, I don't think that will look as good in a scrapbook - oh wait, I don't do scrapbooks.

Congrats Daniel...you'll have a wonderful time at the Y. And learn all sorts of BYU lingo, like DTR and NCMO and SWKT and of course RM and MTC....ahhh, good times.
Congrats! What a great day! I think you should come to BYU so you can come and hang out with us! We do have the best snow cones on the planet!

It's true...Daniel does rock! And I definitely think he should come out for the summer. Summers here do rock! Until it gets blazing hot and yucky that is. But, when you are a college student you don't notice that.
