Abbie's Trip to Forks, Washington, Part 3

Our next stop was Forks High School where a good portion of the books takes place. It was an appropriately gray day but we didn't see Edward or Alice anywhere!

Then it was off to La Push, the Indian Reservation, home of Jacob (who mom likes better than Edward, but don't tell all of Abbie's friends). La Push was beautiful. Merrilee said it was the prettiest place she had ever seen in Washington - and she grew up there. The big rocks in the ocean right off the shore are called sea stacks and were amazing to see. We were there in late afternoon right before sunset and it was awe inspiring.

Finally on our way out of town we drove by the local sporting good sstore and Abbie snapped a picture from the car. Bella works in a sporting good store and Ms. Wheeler said this was the only one in town.

We know this was a corny thing to do, but it was fun and the men on the trip were very good sports. Merrilee made it extra fun for all of us. Thanks to the Washington Fellers for making our trip so wonderful.

The photos are amazing! Thank you so much for adding the trip to your blog! It was so much fun having you guys come up, and it was really great for me to hear all about Edward and Bella. Pretty sure Twilight is next on my list. Hope to see you all again soon!

Much love,
Merrilee

That sounds so awesome. I love the sign that says "Vampires thrive in Forks!" What fun.
